Nonogram from a binary pattern
Turn a small binary drawing into row and column clues for a printable nonogram. The entered drawing is kept as an answer key.
Your inputs
Start with the example values, then replace them with your own. For tables, keep the vertical bar separators and use a dot for decimals.
This activity is for entertainment and organizing informal games. Random assignments and entered skill scores do not measure personal worth or guarantee fairness.
Tool inputs are processed in your browser and are not submitted by this tool. Existing site analytics and advertising services have their own privacy terms.

How it works
For each row and column, record lengths of consecutive runs of 1. All-zero lines receive clue 0. The tool derives clues but does not prove the puzzle has a unique solution; inspect ambiguity before sharing.
Worked example
These sample results use the original example inputs in the form. They do not change when you edit your inputs; your own result appears in the workspace.
| Row | Run lengths |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1 |
| 2 | 3 |
| 3 | 5 |
| 4 | 3 |
Read the result carefully
Results depend on the values and assumptions shown above. Change one input at a time to see its effect. A blank or unavailable result means the data does not support a calculation; it is not zero.
